Flight and connection data

Live fares and flight segments come from Ignav. We use airport locations and route data to choose where to search, then combine flights whose schedules fit together.

Airport and route discovery

The bundled AirportMiles dataset was compiled 2026-10-14. It contains 4,008 airports and 2,785 routes. Airport locations, city groupings and traffic data help us choose useful connections to search. Some source data predates this compilation.

AirportMiles provides historical route data with gaps. We also search geographically useful airports and learn about connections from flight search results. A missing route in this dataset does not mean flights are unavailable.

Source attribution

Airport metadata is public domain or CC0. Other fields retain the source terms below. Flugzug chooses which connections to search; the data providers do not endorse those choices.
